Start Moving and Start Healing

Our bodies were made to move and within our movement we find a deeper connection to our bodies and healing.

As children, most of us didn’t need to be encouraged to play on a regular basis, freely and openly, in whatever way or game we chose. A few of us may have retained or regained our ability keep active, but by the time we reach adulthood, many of us have slowed down or stopped “playing” altogether.

We may have hang-ups about our bodies, fear of being judged or maybe the parts don’t move like they used to. In many cases, we may simply have fallen out of the habit for so long that we don’t even realize we never move enough anymore. Whatever your situation, there’s no time like right now to rediscover the healing pleasure of moving your body . . .  to music, or in a group activity sport or low impact things like the slow, deliberate movements of ballet, yoga or tai chi, which utilize balance to stretch tone muscles and other skeletal parts.
